Lasea (Laser Engineering Applications SA) was founded in 1999 with the will to create, produce and develop reliable, efficient and innovative laser solutions dedicated to the industry. Main fields of applications: - LASER PLASTIC WELDING Laser plastic welding is a new process for joining almost all thermoplastics, even transparent ones. In addition to higher process speeds, this new alternative solves every major drawbacks of the traditional plastic-joining techniques: No contact, vibration-free, clean, local and controlled temperature, high precision ?K - LASER MARKING OF DIFFERENT MATERIALS (METALS, PLASTICS...) The growth in laser marking applications is driven by an increasing need for parts identification and traceability. Product identification, in the form of simple alpha-numerics to complicated graphics and codes, is proven to reduce costly errors, man-hours and material waste. Laser technology has proven to be the most consistent, high- speed, effective manner of permanent identification available. TRACKINSIDE SA, new subsidiary of Lasea created in 2007, has developped a patented technology: Naginels. Using a femtosecond laser, transparent materials are inside marked with diffractive codes without transforming the substrat. Naginels is particularly well adapted to new needs of pharmaceutical industry (tracability and anti-counterfeiting). It answers as well to needs of perfume and cosmetics fields, luxury products, beverages and automotive industry. - SURFACE TREATMENTS From coating removal of windscreens to non-thermal micromachining, laser technologies lead to innovative solutions for high added value product, new design and high quality material processing.
