To help meet the needs of customers to reduce temperature loss Steel Guard Safety Corp. introduces their new line of Energy Shield Insulated Curtain Walls. Available in two Insulated Vinyl Curtain varieties, Stationary, or NEW Fold-A-Way with Thinsulate Ultra Insulation from 3M to provide flexible control of temperatures in cooler to cooler, freezer to freezer, loading docks or ambient temperature environments.
Energy Shield Fold-A-Way Insulated Curtains are one of the only Insulated Vinyl Curtain Walls on the market that has the ability to fold up to 1/3 of its size when not in use. The Fold-A-Way design simply slides and compacts on our industrial roller track system. The Standard “Stationary” Energy Shield uses foil laminated bubble insulation, which is cost effective and easier to achieve R-Values of over R-10.
Energy Shield Fold-A-Way’s unique ability to collapse, slide, and fold out of the way when not in use is helps the end user have the flexibility to move people, machinery and equipment in and out of separate ambient or temperature controlled areas.
Energy Shield Climate Curtains also feature thermal valences and floor sweeps that dramatically reduce temperature loss along the top and bottom of the curtain. Standard R-3, and R-6 rated systems are available along with R-15+ versions available with custom designs. The Energy Shield Vinyl Insulated Curtain Walls are constructed with 18 oz coated vinyl, come in 60" wide panels (Fold-A-Way) and 72” wide panels (Stationary). Vinyl Curtains are custom manufactured to any height and are custom made to fit each application. Energy Shield Curtain Walls meet NFPA 701 Standards for fire resistance, feature hook and loop fasteners along finished side edges, and are double lock stitched with a heavy duty nylon thread.
Designed for a demand for our the market, “Energy Shield Insulated Curtain Walls give our customers a cost effective solution instead of permanent walls to control exorbitant heating & cooling costs caused by the recent rise in energy prices.” states Gregory Pretsch, President of Steel Guard Safety Corp. |
