GF AgieCharmilles' Mikron HPM 600 HD machining center is built on a one-piece polymer granite base and provides spindle speeds of up to 20,000 rpm. The 3-axis machine can mill materials such as alloyed steels and aluminum.
It has a pallet changer, cast iron worktable with axially arranged T-slots, 60-position integrated tool magazine and double-arm gripper that allows tool changes in 2 seconds, according to the company.
